A person who has completed M.Pharm can be employed as a Registered Pharmacist in a community pharmacy or a hospital pharmacy, in Industry, Pharma-litigation, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Coding, KPO, Research and in academics also. It is the moderate qualification to practice pharmacy; therefore, it is mandatory that all dispensing of prescription medicines has to be done under the supervision of a pharmacist only.

The program includes one year Lab research work in the field chosen for the specialization.
The Candidate should be passed 4 years degree in Pharmacy from any recognized board/University, securing minimum 55% aggregate in B.Pharm.
For candidates having not less than 5 years professional experience, after passing B.Pharm course, there shall be a relaxation in pass percentage from 55% to 50% for admission to M.Pharm programme.
The candidate also registered in the State Pharmacy Council within one month of the admission.
The admission criteria in the M.Pharm are to clear the UPTAC/ CUET (PG) entrance exam.

Duration of the course is 2 years with equally divided into 4 semesters, each academic semester spread over not less than 90 working days.
For admission to M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics or Pharmacology), the eligible candidate will register himself / herself through either online mode at the portal or at the Helpdesk at the HIMT College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida. After filing the form, student will prepare for the exams and clear the exam, then participate in the counseling through Help Desk at HIMT College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida. Finally the student visits the college and reports physically.
